Santa Maria delle Grazie

During the emergence of the year 1466 and 1490 the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie was established and became one of the most fascinating monuments of the Lombard Renaissance.  It was in the demand of Guiniforte Solari who directed upon venturing the edifice.  Eventually, in 1492 Bramante added the apsidal part of the edifice. The dining hall of the church on the other hand contains some ancient assertions of the Court of the Investigation.  In fact one of the remarks of the history being kept here is the “Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper”.  Another reason of becoming renowned of the edifice also because of the tribune of the apsidal part on nowadays’ Via Caradosso which was added on 1492. 

 

Touring the inside part of the church will head you to the Solari’s Gothic background which is just the walkways on the two chain of columns.  While the catacombs on the other hand were ornamented with ornaments since the edifice was established, in fact this catacomb was rediscovered after it was being hidden in 600 years.  Starting from the apse one goes into the tiny cloisters that heads into the ancient Sacristy which was built in 1499 and being re-established in 1982.  Amazingly, its walls are lined with wooden cabinets ornamented with affluent engrave.  While the above portions are found the remarks of hand painting as well as portion of disengage frescoes that were born as well during the building constructed.
